About Course
Welcome to the first session of our health courses for members. This presentation give a little overview of what a budgerigar is and their natural breeding cycle. Of importance to the breeders is the environmental cues that stimulate breeding activity in wild budgies and how we can emulate this in their captive environment. This course also covers their social activity and their need for environmental enrichment. It is hoped this will stimulate you to research more about wild budgerigars and then take this forward to upgrade the care you offer your birds at home.

very intresting
I didn't take it seriously when doing quiz and now that see the purpose of the questions and reasoning think this is a really good course
I have had budgies for nearly 40 years and I also live in Australia so climates and other factors are different but Kevins explanation and reasoning gave me food for thought.
Bring it on ready to take in on in Oz

As a pet owner, not a breeder, I didn't necessarily need the breeding information, but still found it interesting.
